With the nickname “aaurelio”, Gabriel Moura was one step away from the title, finishing in second place in the field of 522 entries to secure US$ 56,919. Right after on the table was Pedro Madeira with the nickname “gusmaa”, taking US$ 35,241 in third. Also in this contest, Brazil had Eller Kirsten “Eller77” in fifth (US$ 18,031) and Yago Simplício “yhsimplicio” in seventh (US$ 12,674).
Furthermore, another highlight of Monday was the conclusion of Event 1, played in a phased structure. With a buy-in of US$ 55 and PKO structure, the tournament registered a total of 12,315 entries throughout the qualifying phases, and 442 players participated in the final round.
