Pedro Padilha scores six figures and is back in the spotlight on GGPoker

For the second consecutive day, Pedro Padilha was the big name for Brazil in the virtual tables of GGPoker. After multiple outstanding results on Wednesday (3), the Samba Team professional won a title at the GGWF (GGPoker World Festival) that earned him six figures.

In this Thursday’s (4) session, Pedro Padilha became champion of Event 319-Super (US$ 10,000 Thursday Throwdown), beating a qualified field of 24 entries. For this feat, he pocketed US$ 124,430, combining regular prize plus bounties, as the dispute had a progressive knockout format.

And besides Pedro Padilha, the Brazilians’ session at GGPoker had several other notable results, including titles. In the 318-High (US$ 525 Bounty Hunters Daily Main), for example, “patatipatataaaa” achieved an excellent return, surpassing the entire field of 963 entries to pocket US$ 58,888.

Among the Super tournaments, two other titles besides Pedro Padilha’s stole the show. Responsible for the results were Felipe Boianovsky, who was the best among 14 competitors in the 324-Super (US$ 5,250 Thursday Twister); and Dante Goya, first out of 45 in the 323-Super (US$ 1,500 Golden Coast). They earned, respectively, US$ 52,420 and US$ 18,449.

In the Medium version of the event where “patatipatataaaa” won the High, two Brazilians did well. Felipe Linhares “LinharesM” was second out of 7,807 in the US$ 55 Bounty Hunters Daily Main for US$ 19,941, with “EVPrime” in fourth (US$ 12,663). Similarly, in the 321-Medium (US$ 150 Thursday Blitz Masters), “Be wAAter” was second out of 1,224 for US$ 14,323, with Matheus Rocha “MatheusssR10” in third for US$ 15,157.
