The gaúcho Lucas Scafini was the big name of the R$ 10,000 1-Day High Roller Mystery Bounty held this Monday (27) at BSOP Winter. Although the tables in the hall in São Paulo (SP) even received players from the elite of Brazilian football, it was the businessman who stood out by drawing a high amount in bounties and clinching the event.

The 1-Day High Roller Mystery Bounty registered 81 entries, and in the sum of the prize for first place and bounties collected through the envelopes, Lucas Scafini earned R$ 275 thousand. Of this amount, R$ 160 thousand came from the random rewards, guaranteeing the gaúcho the largest share of the prize pool.
In the heads-up, Lucas Scafini defeated Felipe Fonseca, who took home a total of R$ 132 thousand, while Daniel Croce completed the podium. The final table also featured the Venezuelan Nahuel Ferraresi, Botafogo defender, who, like Neymar in the first days, and his former São Paulo teammate Jonathan Calleri, came to the BSOP Winter tables to honor the event.

However, this was not the only High Roller held on Monday at BSOP Winter. In the same session, the festival had the 1-Day High Roller PKO, also with a buy-in of R$ 10 thousand. In this competition, 48 entries were made, and Moacir Caetano was crowned champion.

Between regular payout and bounties, the professional pocketed R$ 147 thousand for the title. He prevented what would have been a three-time championship for Daniel Wellington at the stage, and the runner-up took R$ 77 thousand. Carlos Castro, with R$ 52,200, closed the podium.

Finally, three other champions closed the day’s schedule in the São Paulo series. The British Daniel Thomas reached his second championship at the stage. Like Lucas Scafini, he cashed with envelopes and won the 1500 One Day Mystery, leaving with a total of R$ 106,300 after overcoming a field of 358 entries.
In the Super 1000 on Monday, Nivea Rodrigues was the best among 178 participants, adding R$ 32 thousand to her bankroll and the Brazilian circuit trophy to her shelf. Finally, in the day’s Mixed Games contest, José Arenstein was the best among the 30 entries of the R$ 2,500 Mixed Big Bet, earning R$ 26,500.
