The WSOP Super Circuit Series began last Sunday (1º) at GGPoker. The festival, in addition to boosting prize pools and bringing valuable side events to the site’s daily schedule, also awards circuit rings. And the first jewel almost came to Brazil, as “EL BRAVO” stopped at the heads-up of the first competition.

Played over two days, Event 1 (US$ 500 WSOP Super Circuit Kickoff) recorded 4.096 entries. “EL BRAVO” finished in second place, but even though he did not reach the ring, he earned a respectable score: US$ 164.965. Also representing Brazil, Cláudio Gordon “ilsy768” finished in an honorable fifth place, pocketing US$ 75.636.
By far, the scores of “EL BRAVO” and Cláudio Gordon were the main ones for the Brazilian group on Monday (2) of grinding at GGPoker. However, the site’s special schedule yielded other good results. In the US$ 88 Crazy Eights, for example, “Derek Turnbow” finished second out of 1.712 and pocketed US$ 13.437.

In the US$ 77 Lucky Sevens Turbo, the main Brazilian title came, with “BIROSKA” beating the 1.330 entries for US$ 13.083. Still on the podium, Luciano Hollanda, a standout on Sunday, finished third for US$ 7.199. Similarly, two Brazilians did well in the US$ 250 Super Circuit Classic: Ettore Cesco, third out of 571 for US$ 11.734, and Paulo Brombim in fourth (US$ 9.048).
In the US$ 215 Bounty Hunters Big Dance, three Brazilians achieved noteworthy scores. Vinícius Felipe finished fourth in the field of 1.365 entries and left with US$ 11.968, while “Caiadas” was fifth for US$ 8.642. Daniel Aziz “runador888”, finally, pocketed US$ 7.992 in sixth.
