On this Wednesday (20), the Brazilian highlight in the GGWF (GGPoker World Festival) session was the star Bruno Volkmann. And not because he achieved a great result, but two. He won two events in the GGPoker series, one of them at the Super level, and cashed big.

The most valuable title of Bruno Volkmann on the day was by far the main Brazilian prize in the session. He won the 174-Super (US$ 5,250 Bounty Hunters Daily Main), overcoming 41 entries to pocket no less than US$ 73,365. Furthermore, he also won the 172-High (US$ 250 Phoenix Rising), outlasting 294 opponents for US$ 20,920. Thus, he totaled US$ 94,285.
In this more accessible event that Bruno Volkmann won, Brazil made a one-two finish, as Vinícius Escossi “DaddysRun” was his opponent in the heads-up. For second place, Escossi took home US$ 16,131. In the High version of Event 174, with a buy-in of US$ 525, it is worth mentioning Gabriel Medeiros, who finished fifth out of 1,230 for a payout of US$ 23,037.

And just as Bruno Volkmann and Vinícius Escossi did in the 172-High, two Brazilians also stole the show in the 178-High (US$ 525 Omaholic 5-Card Heater). “Scanner-“ was crowned champion in the five-card tournament, beating 183 entries to take US$ 18,399. In third place was Douglas Cabral “Douglas_Kbrall”, who took US$ 10,557.
That said, the Brazilian results don’t stop there. Still among the more expensive events, Pedro Padilha was again among the notable players, finishing third out of 237 in the 175-Super (US$ 1,500 Wednesday Wonderbox) for US$ 18,352. In the 173-Super (US$ 1,500 Bounty Overload), Matheus Dias “Balmain1” stood out, finishing second out of 72 and taking US$ 11,691.
