Luigi Soncin, PokerStars’ “Gofaziin26,” won Event 70-High (US$ 1,050 NLH PKO) of the Anniversary Series. He dispatched 62 entries, pocketing US$ 26,199 for the achievement. It was a Brazilian one-two finish, with Luan Barbosa “Relthor1301” taking second place for US$ 14,887.
Moreover, in the 62-Medium (US$ 109 NLH Mini Super Tuesday), Brazil also had more than one representative. In this contest, it was not just a one-two finish, but an entirely green and yellow podium. Among 1,147 entries, Bernardo Rocha “Machadada RS” won for US$ 20,085, with Gabriel Medeiros “Gremio CEM” in second (US$ 14,316) and Allan Justino “JUSTINO” in third (US$ 10,205).

Similarly, three players from the country performed well in the High version, the US$ 1,050 Super Tuesday. Although they did not reach the highest positions, Lucas Rocha “Rochinha2011” cashed US$ 8,753 in sixth, with “dobrasil616” in seventh for US$ 6,776, and Tauan Naves “kylix42” taking US$ 5,245 in eighth.
By a narrow margin, Brazil did not win all three versions of Event 62, as in the Low, the US$ 11 Micro Super Tuesday, “juninnr8” outlasted the entire field of 3,836 entries to claim US$ 5,722. Also among the country’s titles, highlight goes to “MiniAve”, who overcame 125 entries in the 67-High (US$ 320 PLO 6-Max Mystery Bounty) to collect US$ 10,704.
