The H2 Sports Bar & Poker is preparing a special initiative for inclusive poker. On Saturday (29), the club will hold the Poker Beyond Sound, a tournament aimed at players with hearing impairments. In total, the event is expected to gather around 20 participants.

Thus, to facilitate communication at the tables, the tournament will have adapted resources. Among them will be action cards to indicate check, call, raise, fold, and all in. This way, players will be able to follow decisions without relying on voice commands.
In this way, the event will have Libras translators to assist participants when necessary. The project will also have personalized trophies. Thus, H2 seeks to create an experience specially designed for this community.
Additionally, Robinson “Robigol” Quiroga, Head of H2 Sports Bar & Poker and partner of the H2 group, emphasizes that the initiative reflects the club’s commitment to inclusion. “We want people to feel welcomed, safe, and happy”, said the executive. For him, communication cannot be a barrier to playing.

H2 expands history of inclusive initiatives in poker
However, the Poker Beyond Sound also expands a trajectory of inclusive actions by H2. Last year, the club held a tournament aimed at players with visual impairments. On that occasion, more than 25 participants competed in the championship with adapted decks and chips.
Moreover, H2 has maintained for over 20 years an effort focused on strengthening women’s poker. The club promotes exclusive tournaments for women in series such as CPH and the Fun Festival. In this way, the venue seeks to increase the presence of different audiences at the tables.
Finally, H2 Sports Bar & Poker hosts in Brazil the Ladies Weekend, considered the largest global event aimed at women in poker. The program includes tournaments, activations, and meetings over three days. This year, the event takes place between October 16 and 18, simultaneously held in more than 10 countries.
