This Wednesday (4), marking the middle of the first week of the series on PokerStars, Iago Botelho stood out with two final tables, including a 5K title, while Kelvin Kerber reached his tenth title in the history of the festival.

With the nickname “stek94”, Iago Botelho won Event 15-High (US$ 5.200 Super Tuesday High Roller), beating 47 entries. For this title, he earned US$ 82.611, one of the main scores of the SCOOP so far. Furthermore, he was also at the FT of the Medium version, the US$ 1.050 NLH Super Tuesday, in sixth for US$ 11.155.
In this intermediate competition, the field had 192 entries, and besides Iago Botelho, Brazil had two even bigger highlights. Fernando Olimpio “naandy” reached heads-up, pocketing US$ 30.783 for second place, while Rodrigo Seiji “seijistar” finished fourth, leaving with US$ 18.531.

Ten times Kelvin Kerber in the SCOOP
In the previous session, the PokerStars tables saw Briton Benny Glaser win his 12th SCOOP title. Now, the newest member of the select group of players with ten or more wins in the traditional series is the Brazilian Kelvin Kerber. The site’s “Kelvin_FP:AR” won Event 16-High (US$ 1.050 PLO 6-Max), passing through 110 entries to earn US$ 24.729.
In this competition where Kerber achieved his tenth championship, Brazil also had Rodrigo Selouan “SELOUAN1991” in fifth (US$ 8.556) and José Orlando “Orlandinho33” in seventh (US$ 5.032). Finally, highlights also for two Brazilians in the 15-Low (US$ 109 NLH Mini Super Tuesday), with “rodfarah” in third out of 2.048 for US$ 15.569, and “amendoa123” in fifth for US$ 7.911.
