The Brazilian was confirmed in the US$ 200,000 Triton Invitational, during the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II stage, in South Korea. Thus, he will face some of the main names in the circuit again.

Therefore, the competition will take place between September 12 and 14, at Les a Casino, inside the Shinhwa World complex. In addition, the Triton festival will be held between September 4 and 17. Thus, the Invitational will be one of the main attractions of the schedule in Jeju.
However, this time, the invitation for Simão came from Winfred Yu, a businessman from Hong Kong and a well-known name in Asian poker. The recreational player has more than US$ 12 million in live winnings. Thus, he chose the Brazilian to form one of the tournament pairs.
Additionally, this will be João Simão’s third participation in a Triton Invitational. The Minas Gerais native debuted in the competition during the WSOP Paradise, in the Bahamas, in December. Later, he returned to the tournament in May, at the Montenegro stage. On both occasions, the Brazilian received an invitation from Rafael Mota.

However, the Invitational format makes the competition even more special. After all, the field brings together professionals and invitees in equal proportions.
