Brazil came close to winning another bracelet in the current edition of the WSOP Online at GGPoker. On Monday (31), Lucas Vanzella reached the podium of Event 11 (¥800 WSOP Asia Championship), and although he did not win the jewel, he pocketed a substantial prize.

Playing under the nickname “Vandangoz”, Lucas Vanzella finished in third place in the field of 3,443 players who participated in Day 2, which started on Sunday (30). Since it was a multi-phase structure, the total field amounted to 35,095 entries. By confirming the result, the Brazilian pocketed the equivalent of US$ 260,666.
However, this was not the only Sunday campaign that yielded good results for the Brazilian team at GGPoker. This is because the site’s schedule is boosted with the side events of the WSOP Online, and the green and yellow players are not missing the opportunity.
The figures from a busy Sunday at GGPoker
Among the results, highlight goes to the one-two finish in the US$ 1,500 Sunday Giant HR. In this tournament, Jessé César was crowned champion among 267 entries and earned US$ 65,753, with Luigi Soncin in second place for US$ 50,702. Another valuable title was that of Gustavo Campos “Gusscamposs” in the US$ 1,050 Sunday Showdown HR, which yielded US$ 64,100.

The Sunday Showdown HR attracted 516 entries and had a Mystery Bounty format. Also for this reason, another Brazilian cashed big, even though he did not go as far as Campos. Diogo Franco “notlikethatttt” finished seventh, but by drawing bigger bounties, he left with a total of US$ 81,372.
Finally, it is worth mentioning two other pairs. Igor Kirch “Kirch” was fourth out of 3,712 in the US$ 525 Sunday Mystery Bounty HR for US$ 54,936, with Bruno de Souza in eighth for US$ 28,792. And also, in the US$ 365 Sunday Giant, Victor Pedote “Rei Arthur 19” was the best among 1,139 entries for US$ 47,346, with Léo Jokura “leojokura_tv” in fourth for US$ 23,787.
