Thus, Barattini reinforced his history in Progressive K.O. tournaments. After all, the Argentine had already won titles in this same format in two other BSOP stages. The hermano was champion in Rio Quente and at the LAPT.

However, the victory in Florianópolis brought a great financial reward. Juan Barattini earned R$ 114,000 for first place. In this way, he left behind six other players who finished among the prize winners.

Additionally, the Argentine had to overcome a tough final table. Right at the start, Barattini lost a big pot to Gaston Catzman. As a result, he was left with half the stack and had to recover to continue competing for the title.

Thus, Juan Barattini managed to react during the final table. The player advanced among the last five and regained ground in the competition. Then, he managed the lead until confirming another victory in the Progressive K.O. format.

However, the campaign had a curious feature. Barattini said he reached the final tables of the last two PKOs with only one bounty. However, he finished those competitions with 38 bounties, including previous wins.

Finally, Barattini also advanced in the BSOP Floripa Main Event. The Argentine entered the tournament at the end of the registration period and finished the day with 200 thousand chips. Therefore, besides the title in the High Roller PKO, he continued the pursuit of another great campaign in the stage.
