Kerber started the final table in the upper half of the chip count, but the beginning of his run in the decision was negative. He was left with only 2 big blinds in the stack after losing a cooler against Pardo. With KQo, he lost to the Spanish player’s 99 on the Q96Q5 board.

The Brazilian even managed to recover, growing to about 20 bbs, but Pardo appeared again in his path, and this time, it was merciless. With KTo, he confidently faced the Spanish player’s Q5o, but the board showed QJ887, transferring his chips to Pardo, who had made two pairs.
