As usual, Sunday (22) was a day of many heavy scores delivered at the GGPoker virtual tables. And without a doubt, Brazil took great advantage of the opportunities, appearing in the highest positions. Among all the highlights, Léo Alcântara stole the show, collecting three beautiful prizes.

Considering only the Brazilian performances that yielded payouts of US$ 20 thousand or more, Léo Alcântara appears three times with his nickname “o moises”. His main prize came in the ¥6.600 Zodiac 6-Max Bounty High Roller, an APL Series side event. He won the tournament, and by beating the field of 268 entries, pocketed the equivalent of US$ 37.953.
In addition, Léo Alcântara also performed well in the highly competitive and valuable GGMasters High Rollers US$ 1.050. He finished sixth out of 922, earning US$ 35.409. Finally, in the ¥888 Zodiac Sunday High Roller Main Event, the Brazilian pulled in another US$ 21.779, finishing in second place among 1.932 entries.

However, if we count only a single prize, the main Brazilian performance on GGPoker’s Sunday was by Dalton Hobold. The site’s “morgota” finished second out of 362 in the Sunday High Rollers Main Event US$ 1.500, earning US$ 73.689. Also in this competition, the country had Vitor Dzivielevski “BillionME” in seventh for US$ 20.089.
In two other disputes, Brazil occupied all three spots on the podium. In the Bounty Hunters Super High Roller US$ 5.250, Felipe Boianovsky won among 41 entries for US$ 64.346, with Pedro Padilha in second (US$ 48.096) and Bruno Volkmann in third (US$ 24.850). And in the Sunday Showdown US$ 108, in the giant field of 7.907 entries, “MuchBetterThanU” won (US$ 39.492), with Guilherme Nascimento “jornaleir0” in second (US$ 39.625) and Guilherme Ramalho in third (US$ 24.885).
