This Tuesday (21), the final table of the traditional GGMillion$ was held. This week’s edition of the tournament with a buy-in of US$ 10,000 registered 144 entries, and two Brazilians reached the final. However, the participation of Matheus Zancan and Brunno Botteon was short-lived, as both were eliminated in sequence.

Thus, Brunno Botteon was the first Brazilian to bid farewell to the final table. He started the final with the second-to-last stack in the chip count and finished in eighth place, securing US$ 53,777. Botteon put his 10 big blinds in the center from the cutoff with A♠8♠, but found the Chinese player “leng321” on the button with J♦J♥.
In this way, Matheus Zancan also said goodbye to the tournament shortly after. The Pocarr Latina instructor started the final table with the second largest stack, but lost a big pot precisely to “leng321”. Shortly after, he participated in a hand where he had everything to achieve an excellent result.
Additionally, it all started with a mini-raise to 120,000 from Russian Artem Osmirko, who held A♥9♠. The German Simon Beckmann called with K♣7♣, while Matheus Zancan, with A♣K♥, applied a re-raise to 300,000. Only Beckmann continued in the hand and hit two pairs on the flop K♦2♠7♦. Then, the two put all their chips in the center, and the Brazilian ended his participation in seventh place, earning US$ 68,860.

Artem Osmirko took the title
With the chips gained after eliminating the last Brazilian from the tournament, Simon Beckmann took the chip lead at that moment. However, the German couldn’t maintain the pace and ended up leaving the competition in fifth place, receiving US$ 112,905.
However, the one who shouted champion was Artem Osmirko. The achievement earned the Russian US$ 303,531, in addition to a US$ 10,000 package for the WSOP Paradise. On the podium, he was accompanied by the New Zealander Paul Hong, runner-up for US$ 237,045, and the Russian Vlada Stojanovic, third place for US$ 185,122.
Finally, the decisive hand started with a limp from Paul Hong holding 9♠9♣. With the chip lead, Artem Osmirko announced all-in with A♠7♣ and quickly received the call. The flop T♠9♥J♦ gave the New Zealander a set. However, the turn 8♣ completed the Russian’s straight and, finally, the K♣ on the river ended this edition of the GGMillion$.
