Brazilian Renan Bruschi bagged chips in a very expensive Mixed Games tournament this Monday (13) in Las Vegas (USA). He advanced to Day 2 of Event 97 (US$ 25,000 High Roller HORSE) at the WSOP (World Series of Poker), placing himself in a starred chip count.

Out of 109 entries registered, the High Roller HORSE qualified 64 players for Day 2, and on the list of remaining players, Renan Bruschi appears with 287,000 chips. The partial leader is the American Chino Rheem, with 641,000, followed by compatriot Arthur Morris (638,000) and Canadian Patrick Stacey (552,000) in the top 3.
Moreover, the list of qualifiers has many more highlights. For example, Shaun Deeb (370,000), Alex Foxen (347,000), Daniel Negreanu (345,000), Benny Glaser (227,000) and Brian Rast (220,000). The competition will resume at 5 p.m. (Brasília time) this Tuesday (14) at limits 8,000/16,000 and will continue accepting registrations until 7:15 p.m., with an initial stack of 150,000 chips.
Bracelet chance for Brazil at the Summer Saver
Right after qualifying four players on Day 1A, Brazil had seven more representatives advancing in Event 95 (US$ 500 Summer Saver NLH). Throughout Day 1B, 434 competitors bagged chips, surviving a field of 3,208 entries.

The Brazilians qualified from Day 1B were Bruno Porto (650,000), Carlos “Rox” (470,000), Marcelo Lopes (390,000), Naiquel Oliveira (365,000), Luiz Duarte (300,000), Fernando Brito (260,000) and Guilherme Costa (160,000). Leading this round was Michael Danley from the USA, with 1,600,000 chips.
The Summer Saver will bring together the 626 qualifiers to compete in the Final Day this Tuesday at 4 p.m., starting from blinds 10,000/20,000 bb ante 20,000. The payouts will be revealed at the start of the decisive round.
