The total field of the BSOP Floripa Main Event registered 892 entries, and at the end of Day 2, eight competitors remained. This is because in the hand-for-hand to form the FT, two players were eliminated in the same round, reducing the list of competitors from ten to eight.
When the survivors bagged their chips, Ulises Acosta stored 12,705,000, a substantial advantage over the second place, the Santa Catarina native Gustavo Nicoletti, who has 5,270,000. Finally, Charles Poltronieri, from Novo Hamburgo (RS), completes the top 3 with 4,400,000 chips.

In the rest of the chip count, there are four more Brazilians and another foreigner, the Uruguayan Federico Sturzenegger. All will return this Tuesday (8) at 3 pm (Brasília time) to compete at the final table, starting at blinds 50,000/100,000 bb ante 100,000.
In summary, the prize pool of the BSOP Floripa Main Event reached R$ 2,769,300, covering the top 135 finishers. This prize pool is the result of the largest field of a ME in the circuit outside São Paulo since 2022. The minimum payout of the final round is R$ 50 thousand, and the champion will take R$ 500 thousand.
