In total, 18 players from Brazil advanced to Day 2, a number much higher than recorded in previous qualifiers. Thus, the national delegation gained strength in the early stage of the tournament.

Additionally, Vivian Saliba finished as the best Brazilian of the day. The WSOP bracelet holder bagged 204,500 chips and led the green and yellow group. Following her are Matheus Felipe, with 198,000 chips, and Caio Ozawa, who advanced with 196,000 chips.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Brazilian squad includes Carlos Henrique “Rox”, Luan Coelho, Marcio Kaminski, Pedro Cavalieri, Gregory Fabião, Paulo Joanello, and João Simão. Thus, all remain alive in the fight for the title and increase the chances of a great campaign for the country in the tournament.
On the other hand, the list of qualifiers also includes Marcelo Lopes, Felipe Boianovsky, Júlio Fantin, Guilherme Bandeira, Luiz Torres, Carlos Rocha, Léo Jokura, and Breno Drumond. The player who accumulated the most chips on Day 1C of the tournament was the British Robert Mcadam, with 448,000.

Brazil expands presence on Day 2
Besides those qualified on Day 1C, Brazil had already secured other spots in the first two flights. Alen Fillipi, Ariel Bahia, Dennys Ramos, and Paulo Gonçalves also remain in the competition. Thus, the country arrives at Day 2 with 22 representatives in the Mid-Stakes Championship.
In total, Event #89 received 3,083 entries. Of that number, 923 players advanced to the next phase and will return to the tables this Saturday (11), at 5 p.m. (Brasília Time). Additionally, the action will resume with blinds at 1,000/2,500, with big blind ante.
Finally, the organization has not yet released the full prize range. However, the tournament already has a total accumulated prize pool of US$ 8,231,610, while 463 players will guarantee at least one prize in the competition.
