This Monday (16), the WSOP (World Series of Poker) released one of the most anticipated news of the year in the global poker community. The organization revealed the full schedule for the 2026 edition, the 57th in the history of the poker world series. Among the attractions are several new features, including in the Main Event, which still does not have a set date to be decided.

The Main Event, officially named “No-Limit Hold’em World Championship”, will continue with a buy-in of US$ 10 thousand, and will begin on July 2. There will be four Day 1s and two Day 2s before the entire field joins for Day 3 on July 8, and from then on, the field narrows down until Day 8 of the competition on July 13.
In this round, the final table participants of the WSOP Main Event will be known. However, the grand finale does not have a date to be played. The WSOP limited itself to saying that it will announce this detail “in the future”. It is not yet known whether it will be during the series, shortly after, or much later, as it was during the “November Nine” era.
Highlights and news from the WSOP 2026 schedule
In short, WSOP 2026 will take place from May 26 to July 15, with 100 bracelet events on the schedule. The world series will once again be held at the Horseshoe and Paris casinos in Las Vegas (USA).
Regarding the most expensive competitions, which should attract the big names of the scene, the Super High Roller with a buy-in of US$ 250 thousand leads in entry value. Additionally, the schedule includes two US$ 100 thousand tournaments, four US$ 50 thousand, six US$ 25 thousand and 18 US$ 10 thousand.

At the other end of the spectrum, five bracelet events will have buy-ins of less than US$ 1.000, while the majority will be between US$ 1.000 and US$ 5 thousand. As is traditional, Mixed Games tournaments are also guaranteed, rewarding those who master various formats.
WSOP 2026 will begin with the Mini Mystery Millions, a three-day competition with a buy-in of US$ 550. Other new additions such as the US$ 10.000 GGMillion$ HR NLH, the US$ 1.600 US Circuit Championship NLH, the US$ 1.500 5-Card PLO and the US$ 1.500 Pick Your PLO also appear on the schedule.

Until the 2025 edition, the WSOP had been having pay-per-view broadcasts or delayed airings on North American TV. However, starting in 2026, the world series will have free broadcasts on its official YouTube channel. The broadcasts will be daily from the first day of the festival until the start of the Main Event.
Certainly, major attractions such as the US$ 25.000 Heads-Up Championship, US$ 500 COLOSSUS, US$ 1.500 Millionaire Maker and US$ 50.000 Poker Players’ Championship will be on the WSOP channel screens. The full schedule is available on the official website.
