This Monday (16), PokerStars finalized its competitions in the SCOOP Warm-Up, setting the stage for the traditional SCOOP next March. And in the two versions of the warm-up series Main Event, Brazil appeared on the podium. Thauan Velasco and Marcelo Aziz earned good scores.

The highest figure was from Thauan Velasco, in the Low version. The competition was a special edition of the Sunday Million, with a buy-in of US$ 109 and a guarantee of US$ 1 million. With the nickname “VelascoNoBad”, the player finished in third place among 10.426 entries, pocketing an incredible US$ 70.505.
Furthermore, right below Thauan Velasco in the final standings, two other Brazilians appeared. Fábio Maritan “F1oba” took fourth place for US$ 50.258, while João Hayashi “HayashiJoão” pocketed US$ 35.826 in fifth. Finally, the title went to “Speedyy1986” from Romania, who earned US$ 138.761.

In the most expensive Main Event of the SCOOP Warm-Up, entries cost US$ 1.050, with a guarantee of US$ 300 thousand. Marcelo Aziz “marceloaziz” was Brazil’s only representative at the final table, also reaching third place, just like Thauan Velasco in the Low.
Aziz took the bronze in a star-studded field of 368 entries, and for this campaign, he earned US$ 30.129. In this competition, the champion was none other than the Spanish star Juan Pardo “Malaka$tyle”, owner of a payout of US$ 57.427 for his impeccable performance.
