Brazilian Yuri Martins is not giving his opponents any chances in Las Vegas (USA). Shortly after stringing together three consecutive heads-ups in the PGT Mixed Games and confirming his title in the series’ ranking, the player participated this Thursday (12) in Day 1 of the Super High Roller Bowl Mixed, with a buy-in of US$ 100,000, and advanced as the chip leader.

The first round of the very expensive competition, played in different formats, registered 33 entries. After eight 60-minute levels, 23 world-class players bagged their chips, and Yuri Martins appears at the top of the chip count. He has 903,000 chips, followed by none other than Benny Glaser (807,000) and Chris Brewer (783,000).
The list of qualifiers includes several relevant figures. Champions of the last PGT Mixed, such as Chino Rheem, Brian Rast, and Qinghai Pan, appear in the chip count, as well as renowned players of the caliber of Jesse Lonis, Gus Hansen, and Daniel Negreanu.

Furthermore, this hall of stars may increase, as the late registration period will remain open until the start of Day 2. According to PokerGO, names like Phil Hellmuth and Michael Mizrachi are expected to join at the last minute.
Day 2 of the Super High Roller Bowl Mixed will take place this Friday (13) starting at 6 PM (Brasília time). The action will return at blinds of 10,000/20,000, and as soon as the first hand is dealt, the late registration period will close.
