Brazilian Mário Bloot won the highly contested and valuable title of the US$ 150 GGMasters, Event 144-Medium of the GGWF (GGPoker World Festival), this Monday (18). After two days of tournament, the 4bet Team professional outlasted thousands of opponents to turn the intermediate buy-in into a six-figure prize on GGPoker.

On the site, Mário Bloot plays under the nickname “dedenovasco”, and in the GGMasters, he was able to overcome the entire field of 7,778 entries. For this feat, he pocketed US$ 142,850, securing the second payout of over US$ 100 thousand for Brazil within just two days in the series. This is because, on Sunday (17), Pedro Padre had already won a payout of this magnitude.
Still talking about tournaments that extend over more than one day, the GGWF is still running the US$ 525 World Bounty Festival, a High event with phase structure. Among more than 21,600 entries, no Brazilian reached the final table, which takes place this Tuesday (19).

But even so, several players from the country secured notable prizes for having participated in the final stretch. The best Brazilian was Renan Meneguetti, who finished in 11th place for US$ 60,058. Also in the semi-FT, Giorgio Tonin left the competition in 16th, taking home US$ 41,552. Gustavo Pinto (23rd, US$ 32,691), Eduardo Dantas “Duduehnutzz” (27th, US$ 20,009) and Matheus Dias “Balmain1” (30th, US$ 29,628) were also highlights.
Moreover, in single-day tournaments, several other Brazilians did like Mário Bloot and reached the top of the podium. In the 157-Medium (US$ 150 Monday Monster Stack), there was a one-two finish with “ChinaInBox” (1st, US$ 47,238) and Victor Pertile “PerV7” (2nd, US$ 36,424) among 3,001 entries. Finally, in the 158-Super (US$ 1,500 Monday Mini Bounties), the best was Dennys Ramos, who passed through 160 competitors and earned US$ 45,907.
