By holding the Anniversary Series, PokerStars resumed the weekly Sunday Million contest, a traditional and highly valuable Sunday tournament played over two days. In the first edition, Brazil had already made it to the podium, and this Monday (18), it went even further, securing second place.

The person responsible for this great result was “billionaaire”, who finished second among 4,648 entries in Event 47-Medium (US$ 215 NLH PKO Sunday Million) and pocketed US$ 74,659. In the same contest, Brazil also had “roddsafc” in seventh place, taking home US$ 14,134.
In the Low version, the US$ 55 NLH PKO Mini Sunday Million, the main Brazilian title of the session was won. Bruna Kurtz “Cigana#13” triumphed among 8,058 competitors, securing US$ 34,444. Additionally, Luís Zattar “7jujuba7” finished fourth and took US$ 11,484.

Without a doubt, Monday’s session on PokerStars featured several contests where Brazil had more than one representative. In 46-High (US$ 1,050 NLH PKO Sunday Warm-Up), for example, Álvaro Pinheiro “writeUrstory” was second out of 180 for US$ 22,965, with Matheus Machado “matheusttcm” in third for US$ 16,432, and Dennys Ramos “dennysramos2” in sixth for US$ 9,601.
Still in this vein, it is worth mentioning two Brazilian one-two finishes. In 50-Medium (US$ 109 NLH 6-Max), Sander Totuli “S.totuli” triumphed among 1,311 entries and pulled US$ 20,303, with Breno Drumond “Breno2728” in second for US$ 14,146. In 53-Low (US$ 22 NLH Deep Stacks), “Mateuslirasjp” won among 3,210 participants for US$ 9,248, while “JanoCR3” was second for US$ 6,589.
