The main highlight among the results was in Event 26-Medium (US$ 109 NLH 7-Max Deep Stacks), in which Brazil took the top two spots and had three of the four best players.

In this contest, “amendoa123” secured the title for Brazil. He beat a field of 1,219 entries, pocketing US$ 19,018, the highest payout for the country in the session. It was already known that the win would be Brazilian even before the heads-up ended, as compatriot “Whattarell77” was the last opponent, taking US$ 13,433 in second place. Pedro Paulo “PPPedroPaulo” finished fourth for US$ 5,795.
Similarly, three of the four best in the 30-High (US$ 215 NLH Turbo The Copacabana Unlimited) also had the Brazilian flag next to their nicknames. Among 492 entries, Brunno Botteon “botteonpoker” finished second for US$ 13,124, while Jonathan Wolter “jwolter” was third for US$ 13,106. Jessé César “jessecesar”, finally, was fourth and took US$ 6,682.

In the Medium version of this contest, with a buy-in of US$ 33, the podium was entirely Brazilian. “Dias Oliver” beat 2,346 entries and earned US$ 12,653, defeating Túlio Dutra “tuliodutra96” in the heads-up, who took US$ 9,018. The bronze went to “BambamDoBet”, who pulled US$ 6,428 for the run.
However, it was not only the “collective results” that stood out in Thursday’s session at PokerStars. In the 26-High (US$ 530 NLH 7-Max Deep Stacks), for example, Dennys Ramos “dennysramos2” did well by finishing third among 232 entries, pocketing US$ 13,125. In the Low version, at US$ 22, “10jqkaflus” won, passing through 3,251 entries for US$ 10,788.
