A long battle marked the decision of the WSOP Circuit Tulsa Main Event. Jesse Jones and Dave Alfa starred in a heads-up that lasted through the night and took two days to find its winner. In the end, Jones won the title, his sixth ring of his career, and $112,945.

Thus, the two Americans started the duel at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa. However, after playing until 1 a.m., they decided to save their chips and return on Monday. Jones was seeking his sixth ring, while Dave Alfa was trying to achieve his third circuit win.
In this way, upon resuming, Jesse Jones opened a 5 to 1 lead and seemed to be heading for a quick finish. However, Alfa reacted after winning a confrontation with a pair of 7s against a pair of 4s. Thus, the difference dropped to 2 to 1 and, shortly after, the two were tied with 75 big blinds each.
However, after another break, Jones regained control and built a huge lead of 90 big blinds to 10. But Alfa found another comeback and leveled the match again. Then, he turned the game around and took the lead with 44 big blinds to 16, prolonging a decision full of twists even further.

However, as the levels progressed, the number of chips relative to the blinds decreased. After the second break, there were 60 big blinds in play. Later, another pause came without either player being able to end the match. At this point, the total had already dropped to 40 big blinds.
Additionally, the decision happened when Jesse Jones put Dave Alfa all-in with A♥6♠, while the opponent called with K♥6♣. The board brought 10♥9♥7♣6♦Q♠. Therefore, both ended with a pair of 6s, but Jones’s ace acted as the kicker and decided the champion of the WSOP Circuit Tulsa $1,700 Main Event.
Thus, Jesse Jones earned $112,945 and won his sixth WSOP Circuit ring. Dave Alfa finished the campaign with $74,405 as the runner-up. In this way, a decision that started on Sunday and went through several lead changes ended only on Monday, with Jones expanding his collection of circuit titles.
