Once again, Brazil made its presence felt in the final of one of the main online poker tournaments. This Tuesday (8), Kelvin Kerber represented the country at the final table of the GGMillion$ High Rollers, a traditional US$ 10,000 competition at GGPoker. The star finished the contest in fourth place and secured another significant prize.

Thus, Kelvin Kerber earned US$ 195,962 for his campaign. The Samba Poker Team partner faced a field of 199 entries and came close to winning another title in the tournament. However, a bad beat in the elimination hand ended the Brazilian’s quest for the championship.
In this way, Kelvin started the final table in a comfortable position. The Brazilian held the second largest stack in the final and remained among the top contenders for much of the contest. Moreover, the eliminations of opponents kept the star in good shape to fight for the title.
However, the scenario changed when only four players remained. Kelvin Kerber dropped to the last position in the chip count and had to mount a comeback. Even with a reduced stack, the Brazilian found a good opportunity to double up, but the deck ended up favoring the opponent.

Additionally, Kelvin had 19 big blinds and 7♦7♣ when Simon Beckmann, then chip leader, pushed all his chips in. The Brazilian called and found a favorable situation against A♦5♠. Thus, Kerber entered the confrontation ahead and with a chance to get back into the contest.
However, the board brought 5♦J♦2♦4♠6♦ and completely changed the course of the hand. Beckmann hit a diamond flush on the river and beat the Brazilian’s pair of 7s. Thus, the bad beat ended Kelvin’s participation just as he was trying to gain momentum in the 4-handed play.
Finally, despite the bitter elimination, Kelvin Kerber finished the GGMillion$ in fourth place and received US$ 195,962. The result gained even more weight due to the field of 199 entries in the US$ 10,000 tournament. Thus, the Brazilian added another standout performance in one of the most traditional competitions on GGPoker’s high stakes calendar.
