Brazil dominated the main competition of the week in online poker. In the GGMillion$ High Rollers US$ 10,000, the heads-up was 100% green and yellow, with Kelvin Kerber becoming champion for the first time, and Rodrigo Selouan finishing second. The final table took place this Tuesday (28) on GGPoker.

This week’s GGMillion$ recorded 264 entries, and by beating the entire field, Kelvin Kerber pocketed US$ 499,299. Additionally, he also received an entry to the GGMillion$ Live, which will take place at WSOP Paradise. In second place, Rodrigo Selouan earned US$ 385,011.

Kerber, who was recently featured in a GGPoker documentary, started the final table with the third largest stack and maintained a good pile throughout the decision. Selouan, however, had to write a comeback story, as he was short-stacked at the start of the FT.

But still, between valuable pots and eliminations, the Brazilians left their opponents behind, forming a national heads-up. Selouan had the advantage at the start of the one-on-one, but the lead changed hands several times, in a duel that lasted more than an hour.

Right after stringing together a sequence of winning pots, Kelvin Kerber surged ahead, and everything ended in a legitimate flip. With AJs, Selouan shoved pre-flop to try for a double, and well ahead, Kerber called, revealing 88. The board T3379 confirmed the superiority of the pocket pair.
